New vaccine guidelines from the West Coast Health Alliance advise that everyone six months or older get a flu shot.

Public health experts also recommend annual COVID-19 shots. That’s advised for adults 65 and up, people who have additional risk factors, or those who wish to reduce their risk of severe illness.

At least one COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for children six months or older and for people who are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are postpartum.
